I may change systems

Not what you think, I have the K7 (shot commercial poster with it) and am very happy with it. I also shoot with a Canon 5D mk2 and 4 l lenses .. I am very interested in the K5 and actually sell my Canon gear to shoot only Pentax.. That is where I am at!!

I would take a deep breath and re-visit this notion in about 90 days.

Does your K7 AF better than the 5D mk2?

IMHO, you're making a mistake. Even not because of potential hint of brand comparison here (<-- this is not my intent). You simply decrease your diversity and narrow down the tools you might be able to use. Of course, if it has to do with money, then my argument does not stand.

I personally would consolidate to one brand or the other. If you already have a Pentax setup, and love the rumored information floating around for the K-5 (only need to hold our breath for about 24 hours still), go Pentax all the way, then you can focus on getting some better glass for a perfect setup (if there is such a thing).

Keep diversified. I'm definately buying the K-5 but still selling all my Canon gear would be too rush. Canom may have something coming on next year.
There are certain things Pentax do not provide yet - like the 1/250 x-sync.

I realize that money is an issue, but for shooting posters (big ones anyway) and billboards, the 645D would be the ticket.
