Anyone using dxo pro 4 with Pentax?

I am new to using Pentax and have recently purchased a K10D, 18-55mm kit lens, and 50-200mm lens. I am considering getting the new dxo pro 4 software, but it only works with the Pentax 18-55mm & 50-200mm (as well as the 50mm f2.8 macro) lenses. Is this software worth the high price ($299) when it only supports 3 Pentax lenses? Does the program improve the sharpness enough to justify its price?

Thanks!

I've recently purchased Silkypix (SILKYPIX Developer Studio) and I'm quite happy. It costs about 110 USD. I've briefly tested DxO before and I'm not so sure that the specialized lens correction features are really that important.

What does Silkypix do that Photoshop CS2 won't do?

no need for the elite version

The price you state is for the 'elite' version of the program. For K10D, the 'standard' version suffices. Price of that one is 'only' 169 USD.
I'm using it and I find the results remarkable. The correction of both the 18-50 and the 50-200 is very good. You can convert your PEF's on either 'auto-pilot' or tweak everything as you wish.
I have other lenses as well and the results are also very good - for me.

Of course, the best way to go is to run a trial version for a while (21 days) and see for yourself.

I would like to eventually add limited lenses (probably 40mm & 70mm). Would dxo provide any benefit to these incredibily sharp limited lenses?

Sure it can

Without the lens module however, the difference (corrections) won't be as dramatic as with the lenses where there is a module for.
On the other hand, the better the lens, the less need for corrections.
