Hi,

While reading many of the K5 comic threads I ran across a post about giving up tethered shooting on the K100D if you upgrade to K5.
Can you do tethered with a K100DS? If so, how?

Yes, but it isn't pretty.

Google for Pentax Remote Assistant v1. You can use that for tethering, and something like Lightroom or Aperture to process the pictures as they are saved.

It was never officially supported, but it kind of works, most of the time

It works... but like Dave said, it's a bit of a toomba-yumba... works most of the time with occasional glitches... Done a couple of time-lapse projects with a K100ds setup, so i've seen it from just about all the angles... 6mp is great for that kind of stuff as files come out quite small and when you have 3K files to work with at once.... it counts...
