Currently my kit includes a k200d, a K-x and a bunch of lenses (the Da12-24 is almost glued to my k200 and the Da55-300 is on the K-x). I also keep a Ricoh GX100 point and shoot in my bag for everyday use. Now I think that camera will be retired-the K-x with my F35-105 will go into my crew-bag (it's a lovely combo-great IQ and the AF is really really fast).
So my camera bag will include hopefully the K5 and the k200d-it's low iso IQ is still amazing me-to tell the truth the K-x never came close to it (up to iso400)regardless of higher dynamic range.
Regarding the K-5 I'm looking forward to the 100% viewfinder-dedicated buttons, ergonomics (which is quite similar to the k200d in terms of grip size) and the AF system. With the K-x I was sometimes very happy-sometimes not
..sometimes managed to capture nice birds in flight-sometimes didn't understand why the same technique I used before didn't work. Of course high iso is important too..but the K-x made me very happy in this area so far.
my favourite bird picture with the K-x and the Da50-200..hope the K-5 will give me more of these:
