Do you mean what your current shutter count is? There are numerous ways to find out, but I like to use this website:

Check shutter count online - My Shutter Count.com

The K-7 shutter is supposed to be designed for at least 100,000 actuations. I've recently passed 20,000 on my shutter count and it's still going strong.

You can also download Photome, it is free software. After installing it and open the last picture taken, look for shutter count. That number will be the actual shutter count in you camera. 100k is the expected life of the shutter.

Oh, Yes Shutter Count.

Very Interesting My shutter count is 34,420. But I feel not right. I think over 100,000 for a year and 3 months. I don't know MyShutterCount.com is real.

I have no idea.

Did you upload a recent photo? If your photo is old the shutter count will be old.

I just tried it and it seems right on.

I looked PhotoMe and same number shuter count. I guess depend on my 2 SDHC. If i put my new SDHC card and it may recount new number 1. I guess my 3 SDHC total over 100,000. I don't know. Smile

It has nothing to do with the memory card, it is an incremental counter and each image keeps a snap shot of that counter.

So if the image you uploaded to the site was from 6 months ago when your shutter count was at 10,000, then the website will tell you 10,000.

Take a fresh shot, right now, then upload that shot to the website and/or check it in PhotoMe. That is your best bet.

I just passed the 10,000 mark and have had my K10d for YEARS! That is a lot of clicks on that K-7.
