K10--k-7--k-5

So then, I'm on an island and only allowed two camera bodies. Which one gets left behind?

I actually don't see the need to carry anything else than the K-5, but if one has to have two on that island and the choices are K-5, K-7 or K10D, then I say another K-5! Or K-7 then since it is almost the same. K10D is a fine camera but since there are small differencies in user interface, best to get the K-7 instead so you don't have to think when you switch.

The K7. Until I learn otherwise, the K5 will do everything it will and more. The K10d will do Teathering and allow me to turn off DFS.

Damn you just sank my Cruiser! and I was coming to your rescue. Definitely k10 and K5.
K10D got me back into photography, got the best ISO100, work tethered and DFS off for astrophotogaphy with those non light polluted skies. K5 for wildlife and glamour photography (I presume there's some interesting native tribes with Dorothy Lamour?)

The only reason I'd think about leaving the K10 behind would be that it's a big confusing to switch between its button layout and that of the K-5/K-7. Otherwise, I agree with what's posted above.
