When Connected to USB taking pictures

With my K-7 or K200D when connected to USB what if I take pictures, what happens? I mean does it any harm to puter or camera? Better ask than sorry.

It shouldn't do anything. If you turn on the camera with the USB cord plugged into the computer the camera should start in drive mode and all other functions will be disabled.

K-7 will not take a picture when connected to a USB. Nor will it get harmed if you try.
