Problem with AF after Firmware Update (*istDS)

Not sure about correlation with a firmware update, but I assume you've verified that your camera is in the 'Sel' autofocus point mode rather than 'Auto' or 'center-only'? When using the 'green' automatic mode, I believe the camera will switch to 'Auto', disabling manually-selectable points.

Also, with which lens? I believe you can only use center point on your Pentax-M 50, but all points should work with your autofocus zoom lenses.

Also slightly related, I believe there's a custom setting that governs the use of the 'OK' button, whether it centers the AF point, invokes autofocus, or suspends autofocus.

d'oh...thought i'd tried everything...but yeah it was set to auto
