As long as the trigger voltage is correct, it will flash, but probably only in manual mode. The flash is not designed for the digital SLRs and will not provide P-TTL. Your K-X will not use the automated flash properly, as far as I can guess.

Confirms what thought, I'm going to wait for a pentax flash or a DG version to become available. Thanks for the input. KW
