LCD screen protector

I thought I saw a glass LCD screen protector somewhere. Has anyone else seen this?

I've got one (GGS) on my K-7. It was a perfect fit and was very easy to put on - no bubbles or dust particles to worry about. Finger/nose prints are easy to wipe off. Overall, it is a great improvement over the plastic film types.

What is the rear LCD made of on the K-7? Is it glass? Just wondering if I need to buy a protector. With my D3, I don't use one, have used the hell out of the camera, and have no scratches on the LCD.

I use this one for my K20D. I can highly recommend it.

ACMAXX LCD Protector - Pantex K20D

They have the same for the K7, but not the K5 yet.

Another vote for GGS. It is very thin glass so you can barely notice (if at all) that it's on and I got mine for $8.

It has a single piece of 3M tape sealing the edges. There is no way water can sneak in.

All Pentax DSLRs have plastic LCD protector. It is true that trying to protect the protector with another protector is just silly and a replacement from Pentax would probably cost $10+shipping. Heck I did it anyway.
