Ah...I just couldn't resist anymore. Guys like JohnBee are killing me with these High ISO images

So....I just bit the bullet and ordered a K-5 from Newegg. All they had in stock was the kit with the 18-55 which I really didn't need...but oh well. I guess it's a small price to pay to get one in my hands.

As a consolation they're giving a Pentax Sling Backpack as a 'free' gift with certain Pentax DSLR bundles.

Hopefully all goes well and it will be in my grubby hands tomorrow

That's why I have been trying to ignore those threads. I still love my K7, but damn. The temptation of going over ISO 1600 with good IQ is interesting.

Oh I'm already broke

And that is whats commanding my purchase too!

Either way, I don't mind waiting.
I'll be picking-up mine come tax season.
Which should allow price to settle a bit, and the 18-135 kit to become mainstream(sounds like a sweet lens).

Yeah, I was hoping to buy a K5/18-135 kit too... but I knew I wasn't going to be able to hold out

+1 but I may go with the new DA35mm f/2.4 instead. Hopefully it will be offered as a kit with the K-5 as well as the K-r

NaCl(that's if l'm not overcome with K-5 lust at Christmas time)H2O
