Quote: Tony3d Hi, somewhere I read what the difference between a raw image and the in camera jpeg. Among other things it listed numbers values for improvements in all aspects of image quality. Does anyone have a number comparison between the two?
Hi Tony:
I'm not sure what you mean by number comparison either. An in-camera jpg is made from the camera's processesor engine, which uses the original RAW file.
When you shoot RAW, you elect to process the file yourself, with computer software of your choice and settings of your choice. I hope this helps some.
