Shutter Release count

Many used dslr sellers mention the shutter release counts in their cameras. Does K-7 keep track this number and store it some where?

Yes, it is buried in the EXIF of any image. PhotoME is a free utility that you can down load that lists all the data items within an images EXIF.

Yes it is embedded in he exif data - this can be viewed with a free program called photome (among others). Some brands do not embed this information (I know Olympus Does not) but it is useful for the buyer to know howmuch wear and general use the camera has received.

Edit: ninja'd!
