Saw this one day deal at woot in case anybody interested to get a K20D + kit lens (refurbished):

Just saw this. It's a good deal with the 18-55mm (version 2) lens.

Thanks for the tip. I ordered a K20d from them today. I am looking forward to using all of my old pentax lenses on it. I will need to test it well during the 90 day warranty.

Oh my... tempting. Is this manufacturer refurbished? I would assume so by the 90 day Pentax warranty.

Would it even be worth it to go from a K-x to a K20D, or is that a step backwards? Ahh decisions...

Yes and no. Low light is not as good on K20d, however low ISO is better on k20d.

The way the landscape looks right now, save your cash. You will want to buy a used k-5 in a year or two, and the kx is very capable.

I bought one of these and will be receiving it today or tomorrow. Wish me luck. I normally don't do refurbs. I'm hoping this can hold me over until the price of the K-5 comes down.

I got my refurbished K20d from Woot on Friday. It works fine and looks like a new one. I shot a few hundred pics today and over the weekend with no issues.

I went ahead and bit on this deal over the weekend as well. I've been using my K100D (which itself was an amazing closeout deal) for a couple years now. The K20D should be a nice upgrade and the sealed body will be much appreciated. My biggest complaint with my K100 is dust getting in behind the LCD and inside the viewfinder. I also have quite a few hot pixels as well.
