Dern buggered K7: Stuck shutter button...

This is a follow up to my prior issue of the screen not displaying after taking photo's.

Well, it turns out the whole damn this is essentially jammed after I take pic. The top LCD still displays, but no buttons work and only turning it off and back on does the trick.

Battery is now fully charged.

But... I now notice that the stutter release button is stuck partially depressed. In other words, I can't 1/2 depress it... just fully.

I've tried rinsing it was cleaning solution, but it's jammed...

I recently used it while using my kayak on saltwater... I suspect is got salt stuck in it...

Anyone have any good suggestions on how to fix this?

Sorry to hear your trouble. If the camera is under warranty, send it for repair. The K-7 is WR and a kayak trip should not be an issue.

Alternately, you could rinse a few times the camera and button with fresh water, and let it dry thoroughly in the sun in between.
