Initially, it looked like the other two cameras blew the hell out of the K20, but if you think about it, you'll see that the K20's shots have a much bigger dynamic range, thus preserving more data and allowing for you to adjust the contrast as you see fit through post-processing.

If you're looking for a dramatic look in-camera, I think you'll need to play with the custom image settings, WB, and the B&W filter in conjunction with each other, but the optimal appearance can only be achieved through processing.
