Steve Huff is a Leica guy with a fairly popular blog.

All I know is that when I was googling for K7 reviews at around the time I was looking to shift from Nikon to Pentax, his very positive K7 review was no. 1 in Google results for a search for "pentax k7 review". Next was DPR. Still is, actually.

Although I eventually ended up with the Kx due to budget constraints - it was his review (and that of AlphaMountWorld), that got me convinced to try out something that was not NiKanon.

Yes. I wish there were more 'use in the feild' reviews of gear. Useability tends to mean a lot more than lab tests
in the end.
