K7 flash issue

Ive got a k7 and a YN 560 flash

the flash fires fine, adn recycled fine,
but on the second shot, the flash doesnt fire,
but the YN 560 beeps and recycles meaning it was supposed to be fired,

i thought it was just the battery so i switched to a new set of eneloops,
the problem is still there..

it really did get me into much hassle because I missed a dozen of shots because of this issue..

Have you tried in manual mode only? seems like your YN560 is defect. did it fire on 3rd shot?

Set YN560 to manual mode, camera to manual mode 1/125 sec, flash to 1/4 power, then try.
I havent YN560, but it should be manual only flash. Also try to 'reset' the K7 by switching off/on.

wait long enough to recycle the flash, like 15 seconds to be sure? connected directly to the hotshoe on camera? can you confirm the power setting on the flash? did it reduce the amount of light accordingly to the setting? try to set the power to 1/16 then 1/32 to check if it fires continuously.

You still not confirm the output power according to the power setting.
Seems like your YN560 is defect and having problem with recycle time.
