You will probably have to subject it to extreme (in a subtle way) change of temperature and or pressure, so it will gently vapourize and expel the moisture naturally.

Being in a freezing climate zone at present could be to your advantage for that, should be able to Google for a strategy.

Fwiw: I think this scenario is (partly) why camera cases are fitted with relief valves, a lot of electronic equip., hard drives etc., need re-acclimatizing to rid or avoid internal condensation.

Good luck, Mr fungus cultivator -- at worse the lens might make a good environment to grow mushrooms if you chuck in a bit of horseshit too.

LOL...well anyway, it dried up and its spotless now...haha

During rain (even heavy rainstorm) when not zooming and MF is locked on infinity, there is no problem. In snow, there is no problem too.

But I showered K20D + DA18-55WR few times because it smelled horrible after being in pub with smoking friends, and I noticed mysty foggy droplets inside lens. It sucks moisture inside when zooming or focusing.

So I DO NOT recommend doing that for fun and I DO recommend to put camera with lens into dry-box after. Seriously.
+ It leaves maps when dried.

Also there was a little condensation under the top LCD cover on K20D.

Both being quite disappointing.
