Flash

I am new to photography and DSLRs. The flash bulb of my K100D is fried. I want to know, can the bulb be replaced without opening the complete camera?

It's not really a user serviceable part. You'll need to send it in to get serviced, and they'll open it up to replace the unit.

or just get a good used AF 200 flash and have better performance ( close to 3 x the range) than the flip flash, you should be able to find one below $150 with ease (the service may well come close to that) while still having a compact unit

I agree with Eddie... get a flash and better yet if you can get it off the camera

really a smallish flash and a bracket with a pc cable and your flash photography will improve by leaps and bounds
