Price of K10D is going up in Oz

Hi, have you noticed that Camera-Warehouse raised K10D prices again?

Unfortunately price of K10D is exceeding 1000AUD therefore add 10% of GST and probably import tax if you buy K10D overseas. Oh, and don't forget that UPS will charge you for their involvement in brokerage...

I would prefer to buy off a local store anyway... especially now with less than 10% price difference from online to local..

Camera Warehouse I guess were selling at a very low margin and obviously can't maintain that price.. No one else (JB, Teds etc) are increasing their prices...

I bought mine from JB Hi 5 for AU 1395 dollars. Sure the price would come down after the 2nd shipment. The price will drop for sure. It is the "thing" with pentax cameras in oz. Camera bodies come down in price a bit too quick for pentax camera bodies.

That's why I'm waiting until late January, as the DL & K100 drop quickly after about a month on the market.
The other reason is I don't need to upgrade until then, as I use a DS.

Talking about DL price drops the JB stores are now selling the DL with Sigma Kit for AUD$597

Cheaper than many P&S
