New pentax KX / some shots

On Tuesday I got the pentax KX (my first Dslr!) and just now having had a chance to play with it since it's getting so dark now in the evenings, there hasn't been any light after work to try it out. Anyway, here are a few shots I took today after discovering the b+w infrared filter. I'm a little addicted

Question too: What are the difference between using this in camera filter and using something like a hoya IR filter on the lens?

Welcome aboard jennverr! I can't answer your questions about the filters, but those are some nice images from your KX! (I hate the early darkness, too
