Problem with Pentax site?

Hi all, just wondered if anyone else was noticed the firmware update for the KX won't download on the Pentax USA site. I borrowed a friends KX to shoot some video, and noticed they still have fw 1.0 so I tried to update it but no luck. hopefully they will fix the problem.

Use Pentax Japan's site. All the links are found at the bottom of this page:

For the k-x firmware, look in the lower-right corner; there's a like to 1.01.

tried to download from the japan site, but it is giving somekind of read error when the self extractor tries to open it. thanks for the help though.

Try running it as an administrator and make sure it's in a writeable directory.

Tried running as admin but still getting a read error. never had this problem upgrading my k-10

not sure what happened. I downloaded the update 4 times and finally got it to work. the gremlins must be bored watching football today.
