Supersonic vs Body AF?

I just bought my 50-135 2.8 DA* lens, and since I've read that us K10D users have two choices with this lens, either the supersonic AF or Body AF, I was wondering how do I know which is which, and when do I know the supersonic is working?

You need to have updated your firmware to version 1.3 for the lens motor to be recognized and controlled. If you have not done so you're just using the body motor. As soon as you update your K10D will use the lens motor.

If the Pentax supersonic AF system is anything like the Nikon and Canon versions, it should be snappier and a lot quieter than built-in motor AF; you can tell by how much noise it makes.
