K-X Setting reset static?

Hey guys, about a week or so ago, it was strange, when I changed my batteries all my settings were lost. It was set on shooting JPGs, and the lamp was on and everything. (so basically factory settings).

I noticed it was a high static day though, where I'd get random shocks or shock people. Do you guys think that had anything to do with it? or is it something else?

Has this happened to anyone before? (I'm not that worried about it because I remembered all my settings, no big deal and it kept the settings after)

Right, firstly, was the camera switched off before you changed the batteries?

OK, so if it was switched off, then next time, make sure you have discharged yourself before changing batteries.

It was switched off before I changed the batteries...

I guess it must have been the static then. I was hoping another reason would pop up.
