Nice. You were at Disney (Orlando) on the weekend before Thanksgiving? Me too, I only saw one other Pentax during the four days I was there.

I have lived here for 18 years, and have only seen about 5, so you were doing pretty good.

Pentax sightings...

We went to Disney World this Sept. and while on one of the buses coming back to our hotel there was a guy sitting across from me and he notice my Pentax K20 and ask me how did I like it.

So we talked awhile and he pulled out his Pentax K-X and told me how much he liked it. We both talked about upgrading our cameras. I also saw another person in one of the parks with a Pentax. So two sightings on my first trip ever to Disney World. I thought that was pretty cool.

That's amazing! My wife and son both work at Disney, so I'm in the parks a lot, and I swear if I've seen 5 or so over 18 years it would be a lot.

Getting us back to images, here's one I took at the Animal Kingdom. I saw the rainbow and just scrambled to get the best setting I could at the time.

We were at WDW the week of Thanksgiving too. I saw 2 other Pentaxians while there - one at Hollywood Studios (K-7) and another K-x at Animal Kingdom. Was actually surprised at how many Sony Alphas I saw - mostly on Japanese men and women - while at the parks.

Nice photo!

I was at the Magic Kingdom with my family a couple of years ago and saw no Pentax cameras. I had a couple of family photos taken by the Disney people with my camera (looked like they use Nikons) and they were really complementary about how nice the K20 felt in comparison to their Nikons.

Disney Photographers have used Nikon D40, D60, D70, and now D90 models over the past few years.

I was there in August with my K20D. I saw only one Pentax shooter for the entire trip.

I handed my camera with the Fa 35mm f/2 to the park photographer and he was trying to zoom my prime lens. He was like very puzzled.
I guest we are a rare cult nowadays.
