Well, like I said maybe it was a fluke or an error on their part. Maybe they mistook K20D for K200D, etc. Who knows. I don't have my hands on it yet so can't confirm the whole package and condition, but they were very friendly and service oriented folks to work with.

Heck, I was looking for one for $399 for body only like I had seen on a thread somewhere here recently. I suspect used, as fine cameras and tools, will still hold value. It seems K10s and K200Ds do.

Biff: After contacting my near store (over 1 hour drive), they told me they had a K200D for that price. K20D last time they had was $599.
Please confirm if it is the K200D or the K20D when it arrives.

Will do. I had the same question and asked several, and folks kept saying K20D.

Biff, I hope if works out for you but I just took my "new" K20 back to Ultimate Electronics here in Scottsdale. It was $399 here, so you got a real buy, but check it out carefully after you get it. I ran four different lenses on mine (DA 35 f/2.4, 18-55wr, Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 and a Pentax M135), did everything including cranking in -7 to correct FF/BF issues, and still couldn't get the focus close. Turns out it had been a floor demo for quite a while and while there were no exterior marks, something mechanical may have gone south.

Wow, thanks for the heads-up, I'll definitely check it out thoroughly and let you know. They said it was "new" and I couldn't pass it up.
