New K-x owner

Well, got a K-x for Christmas... and got a present early for the first time.

It seems to have no problems right out of the box, thankfully.
Received it day before yesterday and have taken about 440 pictures so far. OK, I deleted about 270 of them but that is par for the course for me

Love the fact that I don't need a flash indoors like with the P&S but hate the fact I don't have macro till I buy a lens.
But I knew about that, so not a real hate I guess... more of an "awww darn"
I'm happy with it now and I'll bet it'll be awesome when I get it locked. Lots of practice in my future, which is A-ok by me.

The K-x brought me to Pentax in the first place, but this forum and forum members cemented and endorsed that decision for me.

Welcome to the forum! I've had my K-x for a month or two now. I'm having a blast with mine. I'm sure you will as well.

Welcome! The Kx is a great camera. I love it even more now that I've added the DA35/2.8 Macro Ltd. Of course it cost more than the camera, but what a pair this body and lens make!
