K-5 and plug-in power microphone?

I'm considering getting an "Ambient Tiny Mike" for my K-5 for video work. However, it's powered by the camera's microphone input, just like the Sony ECM-CG1. Sam Mallory writes on the B&H blog that "Many camera manufacturers provide "Plug-In Power" from the camera's mic input. Plug-In Power is a tiny electrical charge that can power microphones. Most Canon, Nikon and Sony DSLR cameras provide Plug-In Power."

I assume the K-5 also provides this, but can someone confirm?

Edit: Sorry, I just realized that I accidentally posted this to the Pentax DSLR forum rather than the K-5 forum.

Please refer to this FAQ on Pentax's site:

K-7 External Microphone Recommended Specifications | Pentax Support

Based on that info for the K-7, I'm confident that the K-5 will support the mic.
