Mandatory thread from new K10D owner :)

Hi,

Well, I could not resist anymore and bought K10D + DA 16-45 for $1732 Australian.

I have not enough time to play with my purchase but first impressions are very positive. Especially exposure, K10D exposes so much better than my DS.

OK, a couple of samples

Cheers!

Congratulations on the new camera. Really like the first shot. Seems to handle red really well. I don't think the DS does that as well. What a cutie. With a model like that you are sure to get some great shots. It seems the titles of both shots are in a different language. What is the langauge? Did you buy the camera with the grip? Enjoy that camera it is a winner.
thanks

I won't buy a grip, somehow I don't have a need for it. However I saw that they are in stock.

What a beautiful child! Wonderful photograph. I'm impressed with the lens more and more. So far, I've resisted getting one, but seeing images like this break down my resistence. This one is worth an enlargement and sending copies to the grandparents.

I also have a DS and have bought a K10D, already had a 16-45mm. I bought a grip and it is exceedingly good, I highly recommend getting one. The K10D feels great without but superb with.

Congradulation Edvina. You have a great daughter to photograph with and she is gorgeous looking!

After you return from NZ, we should head out for some photography trips!

Congratulations! I got my K10D a couple of days ago and only managed about a dozen shots so far. Once I gather a variety of pictures, I'll post as well.

As for your pictures. Very nice. I have two young (2 and 5) girls and they make great models! Your daughter is adorable! I can't wait to see more from you!

Cheers from Vancouver, Canada!

What a sweet heart! and the beer looks pretty good, too!
You captured a moment that yourself, your family and your daughter are going to remember for years to come.
I love the different tones of her skin!

great shot,

cheers
