The time has come: The K-7 is landing at my university tomorow and will be mine!

So happy, exited, anxious! We want to make a good first impression don't we? I already bought flowers and a Sandisk Extreme III 8GB at 30mb/s for her!

I can't wait!

I heard Ken Rockwell has fallen upon hard times and took up a job at the post office. No doubt he saw your camera and was so fascinated by the fine quality he had to 'borrow' it for a bit.

Hope it get's there soon you'll find it a huge improvement on the d40 (i have a friend who bought one despite my advice to go Pentax (cripes she even has an me with 3 lenses good enough reason right there) but some idiot Nikon fan-boy at the shop talked her out of it.

Ken Rockwell knows everything, or nothing about photography, depending on who you ask, but his articles on his site are full of his "knowledge." In general, I think he sells a lot of items for Amazon...

Update: I went to the depot and was grumpy. They ended up giving me my parcel.

How long will it take for the battery to charge? I can't wait to use it! She's gorgeous!

The first charge (and any other full charges, I suppose) takes nearly 6 hours, unfortunately.
