LOL, I meant a real shot of it. I just wonder if the real color matches.

ORANGE Arrives in One Day...Caught UFO Already!

Orange is just poppin! Very cool and I see Dodge Challenger Green in my future. My Red was one of the first batch and I noticed some features and menus are a little different now...happily so. On our first night out we caught our first UFO. Also took a shot so y'all can see what she looks like. Decent shot in a dark kitchen...you can even tell my watch brand and model.
LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER AWESOME K-x!

If i read into this poll, I might think there were only ~100 K-x users on here.

Except Chocolate and Green won't look anything like the pictures either...

Magic Clue #1: The REAL value of any camera lies in the infinitely rich and varied colours it is capable of reproducing -- just by pressing that little round silver button -- and ironically that's exactly the same as with people too, worthiness doesn't lie in the colour of its skin!

I was a little disappointed with the red camera when I was shopping. I had intended to buy one, but I was anticipating a darker red. I got the white one instead. The other colours weren't available in Canada at the time.

I wouldn't sell a camera just over the colour though.

I would sell the camera just for the color. It is a rather large investment and you should like the way it looks as well as the way it performs.

I am curious about the orange. Is is a bright "rescue me" kind of orange, or softer, like orange sherbet or a creamsicle? If this thing doesn't look like a search and rescue device, it might be worth the $40 lower price tag at Adorama.

Unfortunately it's not fluoro.

I love bright colours, they serve a purpose, you can put expensive gear down anywhere and spot it easily.
No surprise why Pelican make their hard resin cases in eye-poppin' bright orange and yellow, that should even stand out well in snow and they float too.

I got a red one and, true, it is not eye poping red, more of a salmon tone to it but I like that anyway. It has a very opaque look as well.

I was torn between white, red and beige (oh yes and the orange was in the running as well) but decided to go with the Red as that was the first color I wanted. I really couldn't decide. Makes me want to have all of them.

I was really put off by the salmonyness of it, but glad you like it!

Well if I had the option of SEEING one in person I might have chosen differently. In the SF bay area Pentax dealers are to find. I didn't find one. Still I think no matter what color I chose I think I might want a different one. So I have red and I like red and red it is!!!
