Anyone got a pic of the bright blue?
Here is a pic of all the colors. Scroll down a little to get to the kx's.
I got the navy, kind of wanted the olive-green or purple but those were not the choices at B&H. But I got a surprise with my navy, a day or so after I had it I noticed it is a metal flake paint, I like that, looks good in the sun!

The pics here are not very good but it gives you the idea, except maybe for the navy. It thought it would come up full page, I am just learning how to post pics, if anyone wanted to tell me how to do it better, that's fine, or I could just post question, sorry I am off topic.

Navy Blue

The navy blue K-x is what I fell in love with. I wanted something different from the rest of the crowd and the blue looked like a high-end auto's color. I get compliments on it often when people see that I am toting Pentax.

I got Chocolate!

Received my Chocolate KX yesterday. The day after I ordered it, I had a horrible bout of "what was I thinking ?" But I was pleasantly surprised when I took it out of the box. It is not a dark, mud brown, but a soft milk chocolate, as my wife describes it. And, the surface is not glossy, but a soft matte. It is very low key and nice. I like it! For what it's worth, I got it from cameralandny.com . They were very pleasant to work with.

Chocolate? (Maybe when it's left out in the sun too long, or made with too much milk and greasy fat, Yuk! Where's the 70+% cocoa good stuff instead?)

It actually looks like the baby needed changing.

I remember liking the Metallic Brown too, but it was not really available here in the US without paying an insane premium, so I went with white. The white does have one really cool thing going for it - it is the only one with small rubber parts that are not black!

ROFPML. That was one of the best double-entrendes I've read for a while...

Have you custom fitted out your white one yet?

Those orange ones actually look pretty sharp: not my kind of thing, though. I really prefer black: it doesn't do for me to have too eye-catching a color when I'm working. I suppose if I were in the market I might consider the chocolate or olive or tan, or in mix and match just the black with brown grips. (Yeah, I like earth tones. A dark matte grey like the old P30t, (since I seem to be the only one I know of that actually likes that color, ) or those grey Voigtlander R3s might be neat, particularly with brown grips. I've considered doing up my Canonet in that scheme.

Someone had a silver one with brown, very classy.

I think in the final analysis I'm more interested in thinking about camera color schemes than in using anything much flashier than black.

Still, if you got a white one you could like walk around going 'Spensaaaaaa.'

What do you guys think of this one? It's not a K-x but still, it's pretty amazing the detail and time that went into this one. I have to wonder if it's just for show or if it still works though?
