I love my pentax k110d. After owning a canon s1 is for way to long.......I really love my pentax! . It gets the job done plus more. im really hyped about having it and my future with it. After having that junk i have come to appreciate the small things. Although my k110d is lesser of the 3, i hold it up high to the cameras ive used in the past. Sorry, just needed to let it out

Congratulations on the new camera. The move from a prosumer camera like the Canon to a real dslr is a big one! The much larger image sensor is terrific. Friends who have moved from Panas to dslrs will never go back. The K110D is capable of so many things. 10 years ago many of its features were on pro cameras only. To have spot metering, exposure bracketing, and mirror lock up is incredible. Enjoy the new camera. There are lots of things to try.

I feel the same way only I jumped straight from point and shoot to Pentax DSLRs. Hey, I'm from Baton Rouge too! What part are you in?

I am originally from Baker. I still go there quite a bit to visit my family.
