Shake Reduction Indicator Anomaly

When I use the two-second self-timer on the K20D and K-5, the shake reduction is indicated as being off on the Info screen; but on the K-7, with the same self-timer setting, the shake reduction appears to be still on according to the Info screen. The viewfinder indicator, however, does not appear on all three cameras in this case. Any reason why the K-7 differs from the others in its Info display?

I have a K10D and shake reduction is turned off with the delayed release settings. Mr. Asahi seems to think that you might forget to turn it off when your camera is on a tripod. I don't know why the K-7 would be different. As you say, it's an anomaly.

I do appreciate the fact that shake reduction turns off automatically if using a delayed shutter release as I usually forget to turn it off until I am several pictures into the series when using a tripod. It's just that with the K-7 the Info screen says it is still on; but the indicator doesn't show in the viewfinder, implying that is is off. It's a mixed message whereas with the other cameras the message is positive; it is off.
