My first DSLR was a K-x which was AA only and I had some good rechargeables to go with it. All stolen now and have a K-30 with a lithium battery. Very seriously thinking of getting the AA adaptor though to put in the kit bag for that versatility when I am away from civilisation.

Taken at the Bafta awards while waiting for the next actor passing the red carpet. One of the very few I took with the K200. All the others taken with my K5.

Bought mine back in '07 before Comic Con, got the Grip right off, and it worked well with my old Glass from my looooong lasting Super Program SLR. (Still have 2 of those) Before we went to Europe in '11 I added the 55-300mm. I have taken it to Laguna Seca and LBGP every year, all over Europe, countless kids sports, concerts, etc.

Just last week I added a K-5, but I"ll keep the K200D around for myself and for my younger sons to learn with. (Oldest already owns a white K1000 and a white Kx)

A local shop had a K200d on sale for $189, but I just couldn't pull the trigger. Probably screwed up, but just do not need another body right now.

snofox - thank you. I still love the K200D. Here is one of my favorites from the Dale Chihuly collection.

What a gorgeous shot! The K200D renders colour like no other camera I have used. Of course, having an eye for what would be an excellent photo counts as well, and you really do have that!

Sunset at Indiana Dunes State Park. 7/13/2010. I ran this through PaintShop Pro X5 using the single raw photo HDR processor.
