Thanks John. It works well most of the time. I've had a few that looked worse after using it. I especially like it for my racing stuff which doesn't allow for the standard multiple exposure. Here are a few more I've done.

I really hate when people say a camera won't do something. What that really means is they are too darn lazy to figure it out. If they can't pickup the camera, point, and shoot and get a perfect shot then the camera won't do it. A lot of people let others peoples opinion color their own. I go try to get the shot. If I don't get it the first time I try to look at what went wrong and do it again. My boat racing shots get better each year using my knowledge from the previous year. The great thing with digital is instant feedback via the LCD.

Exactly. I got my K200D in '07 after having used a Super Program since '83. I knew no better, I go to all sorts of Auto races, Airshows, etc, plus I have 4 Son's so that means Little League, Track, Cross Country, Soccer, Band, Concerts.....and I learn and learn how to improve as a digital photographer. I bought the K-5 with the same intentions and a lot more wisdom now, even though I saw some reviews mention it wasn't ideal for sports, I figured could be worse than my K200D which I actually think does damn well after having run many thousands of quality shots with it.

I cant wait for this May when my Son's and I go to Laguna Seca (our 11th year in a row) for the ALMS 6 hour race, I'll have both bodies loaded and ready to use, should be a blast!

Yep, for me it's very active rockers in low light and racing.

I miss the ALMS. My buddy and I used to go to Portland, Oregon and watch ALMS and the Indy Cars. It was a tradition for 17 years and I loved it!! I didn't have my K200D then, I "only" had my K1000

For nostalgia - shot with a K1000 (the last one is me and my dad. We've been going to races together since F1 in the 1960's)

John (I'm also John) I picked up Airfare for my 2 younger sons and I for Seatac to San Jose, $199 round-trip each. San Jose is about 75 miles north of Laguna, a quick rental car drive. This year is the very last ALMS race, 2014 they combine with Grand-Am to become SCR.

Love the Panoz shot!

Thanks John!

I haven't really ventured into nightclub or concerts. It's on my to do list eventually. Nice shot. the shadows give it the right mood.

Thanks buddy,

I used to have: 1 Thoroughbred, 2 Appaloosas, and 1 Paint. Horses are wonderful animals.

That they are John. The ones in most of my pictures belong to or are boarded on our friend's small horse farm in Perryville, KY. They are great animals and fun to work with. The one in the picture is Tux. He's currently auditioning to be included in the Lexington, KY stop on the 2013 Parelli Horse & Soul Tour. Tux had some rough handling early on and is a bit skittish with strangers and doesn't like anything on his back.

I do miss my K200D. Had a lovely sensor in it took some great photos. But alas the calling of Canon couldn't hold me forever. Now I have a 7D and 5D2 and every time I try to use a friends Pentax K-5 I feel like I'm holding a tiny little brick. Oh well.

I just purchased a KR for the liveview feature to replace my K200d. May have been a mistake as the KR gave me underexposed photos. I noticed this & switched back to my K200d. This was at a crime scene involving officer shooting. I will do alot of practiceing and adjusting to the KR before trusting it as I've trusted the K-22d & ISTD. Probably won't give up the 200 til it absolutly quits.
