I gifted my K200D to my good friend who had a drug addict brother in law steal his Canon. I found out they put it in a drawer. "not fast enough for action". I sent them this huge book I forgot I had on the K200D, which had plenty of action. With it I sent a K-5ii and 7 APS-C lenses. I hope they find their way. The Pentax Way.

beautifully haunting. Don't see too many Sigma 18-50 out there, either.

Thank you! Yeah, this Sigma seems not to be that common... Bigger than the kit lens with about same focal length, i would have passed it on myself if it wasn´t dirt cheap But also sharp and silent!

So, now that my K-S1's aperture block failed, my K200D is my only fully working camera... so I will probably be getting more active in this thread again

I use my K200D as my work camera at the office, and I love it. You'll be fine! But I'd recommend getting your K-S1 fixed, if possible. That camera seems to have a lot of personality. I have the K-S2, which is a slightly less flashy iteration of the design.

Nothing wrong with a trusty old K200D, though. It's a modest step down from my K-S2, but after a few minutes to adjust, I find I can usually pull off the same kinds of shots.

Sad to hear, but apparently there is a silver lining
