The K200D was always underrated. I still have it...

Hi Jan-61

Nit sure, it just works well. I do use LR5 for adjustments and noise reductions.

How is this for noise at ISO 1600

Very Nice again. Just LR5?
I can't achieve this level noise reduction @1600 with my older version of ACDSeePro. Maybe it is time to upgrade it.

I hardly ever used 1600ISO.

Here a sample @ 800:

And here @ 1600:

If I put noisered. higher, I will get loss of detail.

In this case I would expose for the performers only and not push the darks. If anything I would crush the darks to subdue the grain. I downloaded your photo and just with the jpg I was able to fix it quite a bit. The RAW would make it that much better.

Just lovely, John!! I particularly am drawn to the last, for some reason, but the sharpness of the other two is amazing. I must break out my 55-300 again .

Thank you. I just bought the DA 55-300mm WR and I really like it. I actually used it for a wedding with good success. I was most surprised by the 18-55mm WR that performed really well too.

The 18-55mm lens is under rated, in my opinion. Not a great lens but not a slacker, either.
