Shot while descending into Houston airport after a thunderstorm.
I am not sure about the lens, to be honest. Probably Tokina AT-X Pro 2.8/28-70.

A lot of really great shots! So glad that the K200D is still being used.

Here's a shot from my K200D at iso 400. Subject is nothing special but I love the bokeh from my Auto Takumar 35mm f2.3!

Does anyone else notice that the K200D is perfectly usable at its max iso 1600? It seems all these newer cameras that have ridiculous max iso values can't even be used nearly as high as advertised, am I right?

I used my K200d from when I bought it in 2008 till 2015 when I bought a K-3 II to replace it with. I gave the K200d to my husband and it's still going strong. It only has a shutter count of 9044 and he primarily uses my old 16-45 on it. I do miss the convenience of using AA batteries... Funny story, I had bought a big box of AA alkaline batteries from Amazon. He kept on grabbing some and putting them in his camera bag. I told him to stop using those and buy some decent lithium AA batteries. Alkaline batteries suck in the camera. Naturally he doesn't listen to me. We went shooting in some cold weather one night and he went through 12 batteries due to the batteries not being able to handle the cold weather... needless to say I had to order a new box of Amazon batteries... and forced him to buy some lithium AA's...
