Still one of my favorite bodies in the hand. If we had the K200D sensor in the K-5 body . . .

Did you mean that the other way around?

No, I like the CCD results for my purposes and the smaller K200D kit is easiest to carry although the K-5 body has some advantages such as the larger screen. For other uses the K-5iis is working very well for me.

Sounds like two very good alternatives. The K-5 IIs is a very capable camera for most needs. No AA filter, and very good at higher ISO settings. Even the KPEGs come out nicely but do set Fine Sharpening in the Custom Image menus.

Just earlier today I missed out on a really good deal on a K200D here in the marketplace. I replied within minutes but it was gone.

Something in the quality of the images in the K200D and K-m appeals to me even more than the K10D. Maybe it's because I have the K10D and don't have the other two?

Sorry, guys ))). I wanted to give my K200D to someone for learning and growing with it, just how I've done with that my very first Pentax camera. It seems like my mission is accomplished.

Paul, have you thought about starting a 10 Megapixel Club in the same way you did with the 6 Megapixel Club? It would be great to have a place where people who use all the different 10MP CCD cameras could share photos and ideas.

That would be fantastic!

Or maybe... the "Pentax CCD Club"?

That's great to hear.

The reason I want another 10MP camera is because my K10D has electronic issues that probably trace to the main board. It still works but eventually I need to replace it. But I'll get one in due time.

If you lucky, you may find newer copy on ebay, it's still possible.
