Very nice indeed. Great tones and atmosphere.

Is that the slower, variable-aperture Sigma 18-50mm or the f/2.8 version they briefly made before changing to the much better 17-50mm?

Thanks! Itīs the variable-aperture one. I remember they were in huge discounts, got mine for 100ish$ from clearance. Step up from the kit lens, sure, but bigger and heavier.
Havenīt let me down

Like many of you I revisit some older files, taken years ago with the K200D

These are from 2011, shot during a business trip in Tokyo.

With the M 2/85mm (still regretting that I sold this lens ...)

... not sure about the lens, probably Tokina AT-X 2.8/28-70

Many thanks! Reflections of office buildings in the water surrounding the Emperor's park.
Tokyo is wonderful and one of the most "photogenic" cities in my opinion.

Iīm studying on health and social profession (or whatever it is called in english ) and i had to attend class in art and creativity, there we had to choose something creative to do. Quite naturally my choise was photography, and i think this turned out not so bad!

Subject i chose was "social distancing", middle one was shot with Canon S95 and the sides with K200d/55f1,8. Wide open with ND-filter. The files from K200d were easy to prosess, they are small and B/W jpegs donīt need that much work anyway. This job was really fun!

The other day I was missing how perfectly ergonomic the grip was on the K200D, even without the extended grip. I think it was even better than the K-3 I used to own

Having both the K200D and the K-3 I agree. The K200D and K20D (that I used to own) have the most comfortable grips of all DSLRs that I have ever tried.

Though the K-3 and K-50 (and K-r that I also used to own) aren't that far behind. Then the K10D after that.

The K-S1 isn't bought for the grip though I do love that camera. You just have to hold it differently unless you have a pancake on it, then the grip is fine. And the K-S2 was a bit too cramped.

I'd love to try a KP with the long grip to compare....
