K-x with old glass?

Hi everyone,
I am thinking of upgrading from my faithfull old k100d super to a K-x.
I pretty much exclusively use manual lenses from the M and K series and an 85mm
Super Tak. Does anyone have experience of older lenses on this camera?

Sure do!
I think my favorite piece of glass is my old super-tak 28. I've also got an M50 1.7 I use quite a bit.

The green button (or the +/- exposure button) are your friends for getting the numbers close. From there, you can futz with the settings to your liking. The downside is the focusing. There's no split prism, and the viewfinder is a bit on the dim side compared to say the K1000. And significantly smaller. I have very good eyesight, and I still have trouble nailing focus with that thing. If I can't stop down, I use live view and zoom in. Might want to consider a focusing screen.

The only real difference in the viewfinder between the two is the K-x lacks visible AF points. As you use manual lenses that doesn't matter at all. My favorite piece of glass is a Super-Tak 50 1.4 (8-element). I also use a Sigma Mini-wide 28 2.8 and an Asanuma 200 3.5.
