Thanks for sharing, the fact is that the K10 is the most awarded digital camera there is , this is another feather on its cup. It is no wonder the C* and N* shooters feel uneasy whenever they see Pentax guys, maybe it is the snoob factor or maybe they have to justify the $$$ and feel good that they think they are "pro"(whatever that means). IMHO with the Pentax setup, there is still $$$ to spare and take the better half for a nice holiday trip and more shooting opportunity.

Err hehe what a weird ranking. A top10 that includes dSLRs from all price ranges, compacts, Film SLRs and even medium format digital backs?! Thats kinda like a ranking list of cars, with everthing from lada to ferrari, but also motobrikes, scooters, bicycles and skateboards in the same list

Well I'm sure the offer is inviting, but I suspect they will instead take all the money they make from selling vast numbers of cameras and lenses to people whose confidence won't be even slightly troubled by T.O.P.'s list.

Sorry for putting a downer on things here, but honestly let's put things in perspective. This list isn't going to make Canon and Nikon users think twice. Nor will those companies' executives panic. It may help to sell one or two cameras to new users, but not any significant number at all, because it is far outnumbered by other websites and the endless coverage and self-sustaining mythologising of the other brands. And nor will it mean anything to Hoya, who are only interested in the figures, not in 'awards' whether official or unofficial.

Again sorry for being negative, but I'm only trying to balance out some of the more optimistic interpretations... The K10d making the top of a list is quite nice to see, makes us Pentaxians a bit proud and makes new ones feel a bit better by 'confirming' that they made the right choice... and it might make a few people take a closer look at Pentax (and possibly buy if they then ignore virtually the rest of the internet)... that's about it.
