Never had such a problem with my K-7 or K200D with 4/8GB Sandisk extreme III cards.

Minun K-5 on viety takuuhuoltoon kennossa ollevien tahrojen takia. Saako takaisin muuten hyvän ja toimivan kameran jossa jopa kortin poistaminenkin oli vaivatonta. Vai saak uuden jossa ei pelaa mikään ja vaikka korttipaikka olisi unohtunut kokonaan pois.

I have no issue removing the card. Yes it is a tad tight, but then my fingers aren't like Shrek's.
On the other hand, I rarely remove it, since I use the supplied USB cable, which stays attached to the computer 24/7. Since I have a K-x and K-7, I have two cables, one of which I carry around with me to use with the laptop. On a side note: I've been using the Transcend cards (2x8GB & 1x16GB) bought from Amazon and they have been flawless to date. I format them "in-camera" every 3-4 months.
