Pentax cameras

While at the bar... I noticed a tourist with d3x here in laos looking at the pics he took... I walked to him and told him "nice camera you got there".. he asked me if I got a camera... I told him I got a pentax... he told me that he wished that pentax would make a camera like his.. cos when he was young his wish was having a pentax camera. just wanted to share.

Hmmm not to go against Adam but to say K-5 is in the same exact league as Dx3 seems a bit wrong, First off its not a full frame which puts it into a whole other category, now if Pentax made a full frame version of the K-5 that might be a bit more fair. I am sure there are more things separating these two also, thats not to say that the K-5 is a bad camera, in fact besides the flaws people are experiencing right now which will be soon fixed its a great one from what I can tell, probably the best crop sensor one which is quite a feat imo.

I'll assume your smiley means that your comment is laughable - because it is.

This may be where some confusion is coming from. Did he mean "like his" as in full frame, or 'like his' as in digital?

I'm gonna guess full frame, obviously he likes Pentax yet does not want a crop sensor DSLR.
