Bottom row of AF points dim?

After several years with my K10D, I noticed that if I was using one of the bottom row of AF points, sometimes the illumination would be dim, occasionally virtually invisible. I chalked it up to the age of the body and since it was pretty intermittent, I didn't worry about it.

Last week I got a K-r, and it may be my imagination, or the angle of my eye, but I swear it's done the same thing to me a couple of times.

Anybody else experience this?

Hello, one of my two K20:s is doing this but on the top row. I have noticed that if try to focus on something with little contrast it get worse. I have no idea what the proplem is i just wanted you to know that you are not alone about this mysterious problem.

Normally i use the centerpoint anyway but it is a bit annoying..

Sorry that i cant help you and sorry about my english and spelling and so on, english is not my native langue
