I Think, with your Taks, you'll have to short the contacts on the camera but the way it works is this.
Somewhere in your custom menu should be an option to enable it. Put a lens on your camera that either you can turn off auto focus (on the lens) or a manual focus lens. Put your camera on AF-S. Get your camera set and ready (exposure metering, etc) and focused at the Area you want to snap a photo of. Press and hold the shutter release.
The idea is with a moving object, when the camera sees that it is in focus, it will take the photo. You can also turn the focus ring while pressing the release (full, not half) and turning the focus ring. In the photo I show above, I let the wind blow the (dead) plant into focus.
