K7 common problems?

I'm going to be checking out a used K-7 tomorrow morning and I was wondering if there are some common issues I should be looking for with this model?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

I know of no K-7 specific problems, it is a solid camera. You should look for general stuff like dust in the view finder, marks on the sensor from mistreatment during cleaning (will show on test shots taken at f/16 or f/22), scratches on the rear LCD, which would indicate that the previous owner didn't take good care of the camera.

Check that all dials and buttons work, that the flash can pop up, that the lens locks securely in place, and take some test shots.

I would agree that the K-7 has a solid record. There has not been any specifie issue reported in the last 18 months. Nothing like the battery issue of the K-x or sensor of K-5...

Some users reportes some minor issues with the dials but this is common to all dSLRs: you need to check the dials. Put your camera in manual and check that the front and rear dials work.

All the best in your purchase. The K-7 is a great camera...

Your post title had me intrigued, as I just bought a somewhat new K7 on the forum here. I couldn't be happier with the entire transaction and LOVE the camera. To me it seems light-years better than my K10D. Focusing is faster and much more accurate. The only downside is that I'm finding fewer non-keepers! It's just eating up my hard drive space and makes my workflow that much longer!

Hope you get a good deal and find as much joy in usage as I have - good luck!

Thanks to those who advised me.
After looking it over I decided to acquire the K-7, it's in great shape.
Looking forward to trying out soon but now I'm off to work
Thanks again!
