K10 lcd screen size for protector

Hello, I need a little help...

I'm going to buy a Pentax K10, and because I must order before a screen protector:

BRANDO Screen Protector

I need to know the exact size of the lcd screen, yes I know... the lcd is 2,5", but I need to know the size with the black frame around (with the pentax logo on the bottom), someone can help me?
If you can measure it in mm you are the best

Thanks
Andrew

I can't tell you the exact size as my order hasn't come in yet, but if you go to the dollar store they have protective screen plastic that you should try before you spend extra $ for it.
Either this, or buy the smallest size from brando and cut it to size once you get the k10

good luck

That website shows that they are $13 each for Palm TX screen protectors. I went to Staples and got a pack of Palm screen protectors for 19.99. It had 13 protectors and I can get two K10 screens from each one so that makes 26 protectors for 20 bucks, which means under a buck each.

Considering that my *istD screen has no scratches on it after nearly three years with no protector on it, 26 protectors for the K10 should outlast the camera itself.

Thanks a lot for your replies,

yes i found other cheaper screen protectors (on ebay for example) but my question is:

did you see a decrease of luminosity after the sheet application?

If the sheet is clear, I think the luminosity loss would be minimal.
besides, if the k10 screen is the same as the k100 screen, the exposure shown on the digital screen on the camera is not dead on as it is not a calibrated. It just gives you a good idea of the exposure.

hope this helps
